&lt;P&gt;You lucked out, because you won't be able to &lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/simplecontent/content/previous-version-support-change.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;activate this version after 31 AUG, 2019&lt;/A&gt;. There is an &lt;A href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/previous-version-support/bd-p/6051" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;entire forum, just for this subject&lt;/A&gt;. Get it activated soon, or you'll be forced to start a new rental or move to a non-Autodesk application.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Request for Activation Code Not Working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a perpetually licensed copy of Autocad 2005 LT, that I've been able to keep working. An issue with a Windows Update took out the activation info and requires me to re-activate.&amp;nbsp; The built in activation wizard no longer works (uses old Internet Explorer based web forms that have not aged well) and traditionally I've had to use an email based activation code request to get it activated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can't seem to find the correct email address to use for activation anymore, I'm just constantly re-directed to the web based online activation wizard, but when I put in all my details I just get an unspecified error message. "Request can't be completed" "Sorry something went wrong when completing your question".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The software still works great, I've used it for ages and my perpetual license should still be good.&amp;nbsp; Any assistance for advice on how to activate when both the in-product and online wizard fails? Just a simple email address to contact would be wonderful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Just a heads up..&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; After Aug 31st this legacy/unsupported version will no longer be able to activated so you only have a few days left.&lt;/P&gt;
