ERROR: Could not download the MAIN CIVIL 3D software

Hi there,

I have tried:

- Autodesk_Civil_3D_2020_English_Win_64bit_dlm and download from its Setup.exe driver

- Free Trial online link : https://www.autodesk.com/products/civil-3d/free-trial#0

- Going for AVA (Autodesk Virtual Agent) for Online Download manager..

-Looked up solutions for downloading links.. on https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/civil-3d-forum/unable-to-download-civil-3d-2020/td-p/8829759

Noe of above options worked out for me.

All options did not install the main CIVIL 3D software.

They all gave me either errors or let me install utility tools e.g. :

I did check from all Apps from my laptop again and again, no CIVIL 3D was found.

Does anyone know why was that? And could anyone please provide me with a solution or a valid installation link?

Much appreciated.

You installed tools and utilities that come with the software. You never installed the actual program. Start the installation again and pick the install button (and not tools and utilities).

Thank you for your reply Mark.

Yes I did select and click on "install" button not "Tool and Utility".

But the install button automatically directed me to download Autodesk Storm & Sanitary Analysis, Batch Save Utility (Standalone), and Desktop App... which all were not the main software I expected.

it says civil 3d is installed already

do you see a desktop icon or a start menu icon?
