    <description>&lt;P&gt;When the software was uninstalled and reinstalled both the serial number and key appeared to be accepted and all seemed good. When the program was first opened the same software activation window with invalid licence came up.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Invalid Serial Number</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Recently 9/12/19 after a Windows 10 update my perpetual license Autocad 2013 went into a 7 day trial mode and the serial number would no longer work "invalid serial number". I have done the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Initially when this first happened I tried to put in the&amp;nbsp; previous activation code. This was not accepted&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. A complete uninstall and reinstall (twice) with full reboots.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. I have forced reactivation fisically deteting older license files.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In addition to 2013 we also have a 2019 subscription (this is not installed on my machine) I do have a 2019 LT expired trial version on my computer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately none of these items really apply or they have been ruled out. One minute the program worked perfectly then it did not. Only thing that happened (that I am aware of) was a Windows 10 update. &lt;P&gt;It's all about the history of the serial #.&amp;nbsp; Meaning you could've used that to upgrade or it was on maintenance plan that's no longer active.&amp;nbsp; When a perpetual license is activated it no longer checks so you could've run it for extended period of time under an invalid serial #.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;So when you go to activate it again it fails.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your insight.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since purchased this software has been installed and uninstalled on several machines as hardware was upgraded. Is there a way of fixing this issue given this software is no longer supported? I can't find anyone at Autodesk who will help...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For a small business this software is a major investment and to have it all of a sudden stop working is serious.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If the serial # is invalid most likely you will have to upgrade the version you are now entitled to.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;But contract the Autodesk Activation team or if you have one, contact your reseller.&lt;/P&gt;
