Fusion360 will not launch - Windows 10. first time ever using software

i was pointed to the software by an associate, so i signed up for the free account and downloaded the software.

installation went fine - no errors, but the window just disappears after 100% complete.

i attempt to launch the application, nothing happens, and there is a dead process in my applications

Also if you do, provide the log as a file attachment and not in the manner you did. Unable to search and review properly.

Thank you for posting. I have listed some common launch issues associated with this problem.

Check the Operating System needed & the required updates by reviewing the system requirements for the software & Certified Graphics Card Drivers
Make sure you have an updated graphics card driver by checking the manufacturer's website then (Assign the correct Graphics Card)
Temporarily disable your Antivirus software, Firewall or other 3rd party software
Temporarily disable UAC on Windows 7 or Windows 10

Fusion360 is not shown in the list for software for the recommended driver list;

im using the latest drivers provided by both my intel and nVidia gfx cards (GTX 1070)

What i ended up having to do was reload my whole OS

this was not an ideal solution, but now Fusion works. so ill take the good with the bad.

i wish i could provide more data to help others - as i see quite a few posts with others with the same issue.

That doesn't sound like fun. This is still very helpful for users in the community to know that may have reformatted or installed an OS version recently. Applications will only run on a stable operating system that meets the applications performance requirements, so that's always the first step.
