      <title>Inventor 2017.4 fails to install</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm running out of idea as to why the Inventor 2017.4 update keeps failing. I have tried installing it through the Autodesk App, through Browser download, uninstalling and reinstalling Inventor, updating all other Autodesk software first, but nothing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've attached the update logs to see if anyone can take a stab at it. Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;In Windows Control Panel/Program and Features&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Uninstalling the following programs&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Autodesk Desktop Connect Service&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Autodesk Guide Tutorial plugin&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If they will not uninstall, use Microsoft Fixit &lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed&lt;/A&gt; and follow the uninstall steps.&amp;nbsp; Repeat as needed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Try installation again using the update you downloaded from your Autodesk Account.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Is the Desktop Connect application there or not?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Log is failing on it again..&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Just wanted to confirm.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Update:&amp;nbsp; Also there should be a few log files associated to this update.&amp;nbsp; Can you zip and attach here.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It wasnt on the Apps &amp;amp; Features list to begin with. The only thing I was able to uninstall was Autodesk Guide Tutorial Plugin.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Can you please check if you have one or more processes called "node.exe" in your tasklist ?&lt;/P&gt;
