unable to uninstall inventor because inventor.exe is still running

I had some problems with starting up Inventor pro 2020 so I wanted to re-install Inventor.

But when I try to uninstall Inventor it says it can`t be uninstalled because inventor.exe is still running.

Restarting my PC does not work.

Have you tried Control, Alt, Del and going to the task manager tab? To see if Inventor is running there then end task?

What OS are you running?

Windows 10 x64 -16GB Ram
Intel i7-6700 @ 3.41ghz
nVidia GTS 250 - 1 GB
Inventor Pro 2020

Yes I have opened task manager but there was no Inventor.exe Running but i keep getting this message while trying to uninstall inventor.

the OS I am running is

Edition: Windows 10 Enterprise

Version: 1903

OS Build: 18362.720

Try using the Autodesk uninstall tool to see if that gives you what you are trying to do.

For some reason this still doesn`t work it keeps giving me the same message that inventor.exe is still running.

also rebooting seems not to help

What Autodesk products do you have installed?

Have you tried the Microsoft Fix It tool ... making sure everything / anything old is removed?

Hi Stan,

Please reboot the machine and start Task Manager. Do you see Inventor.exe running? Are you running Inventor NASTRAN or other Add-Ins?

These are all the Autodesk Files I have installed on this laptop.

all the stuff that has anything to do with inventor I am not able to uninstall.

Try the Microsoft Fixit tool that @Cadmanto was mentioning.

Do you see Inventor on the list?
