Hi Heinrich,

Thank you for the question, in general the AEC collections has a combination of desktop + Cloud Connected + Cloud products, it would be helpful if you can elaborate on which products are extensively used by your team.

However, in general, licensing( single user subscription) is one of the less data consumption app and you should be able to license a product with minimal bandwidth. However, if BIM 360 is extensively used which I believe it is, then below are the connectivity requirements -

Let us know if there are any further questions.

Thanks,

We have the AEC collection package for our offices, Some of our employees will be required to take Desktop PC`s home and do not have internet at home and we are making arrangements to purchase LTE routers for our staff to work remotely. My Questions is what would be a sufficient amount of bandwidth to operate efficiently, keep in mind we also using Microsoft Teams as our preferred method of communication and for typically a period of 1 calendar month

Hi Henrich.wicomb,

Thank you for the question. Obtaining license from the server will take a very minimum amount of bandwidth. Once you have connected to the license server, license will auto verify every 30 days. Within this 30 days, you can use the product offline.

Do let me know if I've mistaken your question or you have any inquiries.

Cheers! 🙂

Thank you bharath

We typically use Autocad 2020, Revit 2020, Advance steel 2020, Robot Stuctural **** and one user will use the Civil 3D.
I could have used the incorrect forum category for my post, however i am more referring to operational Data usage, our products have all been Licensed and activated allready. It`s a situation of do we purchase data packages of 10gb, 50gb or 100gb. to operate for 30days assuming 8 hours a day.

Hi Heinrich - Sure, do we know if users would be collaborating using any of our cloud products or over WAN to your corporate network? if yes then you would need to size the bandwidth accordingly based on their collaboration needs and also the project/file sizes delivered by our products. From a licensing perspective and general product operations for over a month ( considering no cloud product usage, collaboration and only Autodesk products in scope) you can actually go the minimum bandwidth package considering the data pricing.

Thanks,
