Can't change "Installation Path" when installing AutoCAD 2019

My C: volume is nearly full, still have 7GB enough to install this program. But i decide to install it to F: volume .
And I couldn't browse another folder name in 'Installation Path'.
How to change this?

Is there another 2019 AutoCAD-based software installed on your PC? Or was it installed and later removed?

When a 2019 AutoCAD (or AutoCAD toolset) is installed on a system, the AutoCAD install path gets set via this registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R22\InstalledProducts

Any subsequent installations of AutoCAD or AutoCAD verticals from the same product/year will automatically install to the location specified in the Default value in the above registry key.

You can modify the value for Default under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R22\InstalledProducts to point to the folder/drive where you want the software installed.

Warning: Improperly editing the Windows registry could render your operating system unusable. Use the Microsoft® Registry Editor at your own risk and only after backing up the registry. Microsoft provides critical information about the registry in the Microsoft Knowledge Base at http://support.microsoft.com/support.

NOTE: When you uninstall AutoCAD or an AutoCAD vertical you need to make sure that the Default value in the above registry key points to the install path of the program you are uninstalling. The uninstall will fail if it points to a different install path.

Your question is exactly what i did before.
I tried to follow your instruction and it is work ! I changed folder name.

However, i have a different problem .
After that, i keep going to install AutoCAD 2019 program, all progress was done .
But, all i can see is "Autodesk Desktop app" on the destop. And can not find anything from the installation progress i did before. lol

p/s: i pretty sure when i installed AutoCAD2019 successfully at the first time, its worked normally like every programs i installed before . But for some reason, i deleted it all. And now, im paying for my stupid act.

Hi @Anonymous

No worries, we can fix that. I guess there are still traces from the old installation on the system registry. Try the following to do a complete clean up:

Go to Control Panel > Uninstall a program
Uninstall anything related to AutoCAD 2019
Download and run the Microsoft Utility for Uninstall Troubleshooting
In the utility window, select first "Next" and then "Uninstalling"
In the list that appears, select any item related to AutoCAD 2019
Click "Next" and follow the steps until completed
Repeat the process for each entry that reads "AutoCAD 2019" (you need to restart the utility after every uninstall attempt)
Once done, reboot your machine
Reinstall AutoCAD 2019, select your desired installation path and wait for it to complete

Keep me posted on the results.

Good evening, I'm currently installing Autocad and it states that my drive is out of disk space even though I changed the installation path to a drive that has a large free availabe disk space. What should I do?
