Hello, everyone, I need help to fix Maya.

TL;DR: Tried to install MNPRX and now Maya stop working. Tried everything but now if I use Maya it crashes my laptop.

Maya 2018 worked perfectly fine until some days ago while I was trying to learn about shaders and non-photorealistic rendering. I discovered Maya NPR Framework (https://artineering.io/software/MNPRX/) and it blew my mind.

I was so excited that and tried to use it in one of my school projects. So, I downloaded immediately and followed the instructions when I finally finished and restart everything Maya simply stop working. The software didn’t even open, it was stuck in the splash screen with the text “Loading…” in the corner.

I tried with the “Repair or Reinstall” option multiple times, but I was getting the same result. So, I uninstalled it and install it again, but it didn’t work.

I tried installing it in multiple occasions with the same result, I even try installing a different version.

Finally, I installed Maya 2019 and tried changing the folder name to maya.old and it appear to work, I can open the program one again and continue my life. But a few hours ago, I tried rendering a sequence for my project and Maya started to use all the memory in my laptop (Dell G3) until I get a blue screen. This has never happened before I now I can barely work in Maya.

I really don’t know what else to do, I follow every advice I received but nothing seems to work.

Please someone help me.

i'm curious to have an answer from the support, i have exactly the same error for maya 2019 AND maya 2020.

I began to work with maya 2020, it worked one time, and crash just after, i've tried to repair the soft 3 time, tried another install, still the same issue, so i installed the 2019 version. It worked just yesterday afternoon, and this morning that doesn't work anymore.

Now when i launch the soft, nothing append and i don't find any solution on the support page.
