For some odd reason updating through Autodesk Access doesn't work ("unable to update"), SO the next natural thing to try is to download the updates manually, and then install them. This however does not work either. Double click running them, renders the black Autodesk "preparing..." dialogue for a second or so, and then it disappears and nothing happens. Right-click "Run as administrator" does the exact same thing. So far this behaves the exact same way for the ASC-update, Inventor update, and Vault client update. Restarting the computer did nothing to help.

We don't really have an IT person here, and I'm the only CAD-user here so I mostly have to fix stuff myself. The workaround for this issue appears to be to install from the products page, as opposed to using either of the above mentioned methods of updating.
