&lt;P&gt;Try looking at the&lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System-requirements-for-Autodesk-3ds-Max-2021.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt; system requirements&lt;/A&gt; to make sure you meet the minimum. Also, make sure to start fresh by uninstalling &amp;amp; reinstalling using the steps outlined below.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Conduct a&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/remove-products/clean-uninstall" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Clean Uninstall&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;of the previous installation &amp;amp; use the&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;MSfixitTool&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;to complete it&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Reboot the computer, make sure apps are not auto running in the background&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Log in as Administrator&amp;nbsp;(check your permissions, full control)&amp;nbsp;or &lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13951/windows-create-user-account" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;create a new profile&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter&amp;nbsp;(Windows)&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;what is your system example what version of windows do you have? make sure you have the 64bit of windows and not the 32 bit because autodesk doesn't do the 32 bit anymore&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;make have you have&lt;/P&gt;&lt;TABLE border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2"&gt;&lt;TBODY&gt;&lt;TR&gt;&lt;TD&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;RAM&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/TD&gt;&lt;TD&gt;4 GB of RAM minimum (8 GB or more recommended)&lt;/TD&gt;&lt;/TR&gt;&lt;/TBODY&gt;&lt;/TABLE&gt;&lt;P&gt;hard drive space needed 9 GB of free disk space for installation&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure windows is update,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if you have all this then you should be golden and it should install, if not then please put a screen shot of your error massage,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;do you get a crash reporting error asking you to send the error to autodesk if you did make sure you fill out with your that crash reporting error and that and write down the refernece number and post it here then an autodesk employee can look it up or they can look that up with your email address. but please don't post your email here. or you could get a lot of unwanted messages,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
