Trying to reinstall netfabb get message newer version installed

Env : Windows 10 2004

Folks I have combed all the forums and tips but I cannot get netfabb to install. I have :

Removed ALL Autodesk products
Run microsoft install/remove diag file . Netfabb not listed in uninstall, all Autodesk products removed.
Deleted Autodesk from Program Files , Program Files X86, ProgramData , AppData/Local and Roaming, Common Files
Cleaned Windows Temp (and Even moved it)
Deleted from Registry in Current User and System Software
Searched registry and deleted any reference to Autodesk
Run CCleaner just to make sure all remnants gone
Rebooted till Im blue in the face

Downloaded Netfabb using the Browser Download option.

Disabled Windows Defender

When I run the install I ALWAYS get the screen saying that a newer version is installed even though I think I have trashed everything. Im now at a loss please help

It installs all the ancillaries i.e Materials , C+ Libraries , Licencing (even seen desktop App install appear , but does get installed.) Netfabb is never installed. After this then the install becomes greyed out permanently.

I checked on that msoft link, it just points to the repair tool I said I have already run in my initial post . This appears to be Autodesk issue as the installer thinks that there is a newer version. With everything gone why would it show that ? Maybe knowing why it thinks that would shed light on my issue.

Without the MSI log files it is difficult to investigate.

Can you please check your %temp% for *.log file from the installation.

Compress the files (7zip/zip/rar) and upload here, that we can take a look.

I do see some event id's in your logs. Try reviewing Windows Utilities like "Event Viewer" to find out more & conduct a Google search of the Microsoft event ID, for "how to" on troubleshooting the issue.

Your system is preventing the installation, but you just need to find out what is preventing it from installing.

Once you have resolved the system issues you can begin downloading & installing, please use the steps below.

Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the previous installation & use the MSfixitTool to complete it
Reboot the computer, make sure apps are not auto running in the background
Log in as Windows Administrator (full control permissions are required) or create a new Windows profile
Make sure you have an uninterrupted high-speed connection to the internet & try adjusting your LAN & proxy settings etc.
Clean up the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the search bar by the Windows Start Menu and hit Enter, then delete unnecessary (Windows)
Temporarily disable/disconnect security tools like Antivirus, Firewall, VPN & UAC on your Windows operating system

It looks like, that a "precheck" of the setup.exe thinks there is a newer version of netfabb installed.

Because I do not have the installation sources of netfabb 2019 (just 2021 as trial) I can only guess.

But in general it is possible to install the msi packages manually, then you can check where something went wrong, or it works.

What I can offer is, that we do a remote control session and I take a look.

Before you look I found the netfab MSI and ruuning its gives same message. See screen shot.

And MSI Logs says (MSIb5ebc.log)

A newer version of Netfabb is already installed.

I have written a tool, to check all installed MSI packages. Normally I run that and check what is installed.

I use AnyDesk with license, if this is not a problem for you I prefer that.

But we can also use Teamviewer.

In my timezone it is 12:43 pm, when Do you have time ?

I also found out how to run the msiexec and used command

Yes, this message is from the msi package.

Every msi package has a version number, product code and upgrade code.

During the install, the msi checks for newer versions with the version number and the upgrade code. And it looks like, that in the "msi configuration" of your pc is/was a newer netfabb version 2019 installed. But to check this we have to make da dump of all installed msi packages.

so just uninstall as I recommend, then it should work.

Before reading this went into registry and deleted

This is not the best idea, because the msi package has also for every component uuids, etc.

I do not want to explain this in detail, but you can run into trouble in the future, because you have now a lot of proxy entries in your registry.

Well as this is all down to Netfabb not cleaning itself up properly during unistall , maybe you can suggest a better way to make sure I dont have issues
