      <title>AutoCAD 2024 -  Continuous crash for no apparent reason!</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Autocad 2024 crashes regularly, for no apparent reason.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have already:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Reinstalled Acad&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;installed updates&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-&amp;gt; no improvement&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Windows 11 Pro completely reinstalled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All drivers new&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Acad reinstalled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-&amp;gt; still no improvement&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;System:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Microsoft Windows 11 Pro&amp;nbsp;Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.&amp;nbsp;Zenbook UX7602ZM_UX7602ZM&lt;BR /&gt;Prozessor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900H, 2500 MHz, 14 Kern(e), 20 logische(r) Prozessor(en)&lt;BR /&gt;BIOS-Version/-Datum American Megatrends International, LLC.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Which video card is AutoCAD2024 using? GRAPHICSCONFIG command, share that screenshot.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Where do you store your DWG files? How are you connected to that location?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When does it crash? Can you repeat it on demand or is it totally random?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;if you turn off your WIFI/Bluetooth, and the DWGs are on your Zenbook, does the crashing stop if you test this way for a couple of hours?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you installed the 2024.1.2 Update yet? ABOUT command will confirm what you have installed. If not, get it from your Autodesk Account Page here &lt;A href="https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates" target="_blank"&gt;https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Restart your PC afterwards.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If that did not help... Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD2024.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also consider turning off LINESMOOTHING and LINEFADING variables.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If still no relief then start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and change the 2D Display Settings pulldown from "advanced mode" to one of the other choices.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Do you mean it crashes fast, once in a dwg, or right when opening, or later?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are the crashes "poof", where acad is gone, or do you get the error report thing?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you try uninstalling the civil3d object enablers for acad? You can easily reinstall them, and we always uninstall them for our acad sessions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If we want them, we open civil3d which always has them even if you uninstalled for acad.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you run accoreconsole.exe at command prompt to do something simple?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Describe things a bit more as I have random poof crash issues on a couple machines out of our 120 person group.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am pretty sure its a hardware issue related to external monitors attached.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Note that I have a dell precision laptop and power it and the port replicator. That is 2 wall bricks feeding them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also have a cooler thing under the laptop and its still warm. So I wonder if the heat affects things somehow.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thx&lt;/P&gt;</description>
