Instillation Error

I'm trying to install AUTOCAD2021 but I keep getting ".NET Framework Runtime 4.8 did not install (error code -2147418118)" I can not seem to find a solution. I've tried deleting AUTODESK from my desktop and then reinstalling it but that has not made a difference. This is the first AUTODESK product I have tried installing. I'm at university and I need this program for coursework.

Thanks for that! Please try repairing your .NET Framework, the steps to do that is located in this AKN Article, the steps are the same even though you are using AutoCAD and this article is under Revit products.

This is more of a windows problem then

you will need to start looking at repairing your OS or a refresh of the OS
