How to silently uninstall DWG TrueView 2022?

Trying to silently uninstall software fails if using the information in the registry:

[Execute-Process] :: Executing [C:\WINDOWS\System32\msiexec.exe /x "{D7A6621A-1A6A-3DAC-BBD2-9EB566035195}" REBOOT=ReallySuppress /QN]...
[Uninstallation] [Execute-Process] :: Execution failed with exit code [1605] because the product is not currently installed.

I found it {28B89EEF-5128-0409-0100-CF3F3A09B77D} It will remove DWG TrueView 2022 but it will still keep the "uninstall app" as it will still show in Add/Remove Programs list......

I have solved it by installing the msi files instead.

3rdparty:

\3rdParty\x64\VCRedist\2012UPD4\vcredist_x64.exe /install /quiet /norestart

\3rdParty\x64\VCRedist\2019\vcredist_x64.exe /install /quiet /norestart

trueview:

\x64\dwgviewr\dwgviewr.msi ADSK_SETUP_EXE=1 ADSK_DESKTOPSHORTCUT_1=0 REBOOT=ReallySuppress /QN

@Anonymous I was able to successfully install DWG TreuView with your commands, thanks!

For uninstall I ran msiexec.exe /x {28B89EEF-5128-0409-0100-CF3F3A09B77D} /quiet per the official Autodesk documentation and it did uninstall the software however it killed explorer.exe and I was unable to script restarting explorere.exe so I dug around and found adding: MSIRESTARTMANAGERCONTROL=Disable /quiet stopped the problem.

So my final uninstall command is:

msiexec.exe /x {28B89EEF-5128-0409-0100-CF3F3A09B77D} MSIRESTARTMANAGERCONTROL=Disable /quiet

It also works with uninstalling DWG Trueview 2018 which is the version we are updating from.

I have done silent install of Autodesk Trueview 2022 "Setup.exe --silent" as per the doc.

during uninstall via product code i could still see entry in ARP.

would appreciate if anyone can give me switch to Uninstall the application.

This doesn't seem to remove the whole program? I still see Autodesk DWG TrueView 2022 in Settings > Apps & Features.

I can confirm the following works. Including the uninstall command which does remove the entire application, unlike the msiexec.exe command posted above.

Install: Setup.exe -q

Uninstall: "%ProgramFiles%\Autodesk\AdODIS\V1\Installer.exe" -i uninstall -q -m C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ODIS\metadata\{D7A6621A-1A6A-3DAC-BBD2-9EB566035195}\bundleManifest.xml

The main problem is that new installation through ODIS instead MSI create a product code DIFFERENT for each machine where program is installed.

If you search in registry where you have installed the program you'll find an uninstall string like this

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AdODIS\V1\Installer.exe -i uninstall --trigger_point system -m C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ODIS\metadata\{087B95DF-F444-3F18-B633-4A7A0A0488A4}\bundleManifest.xml -x C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ODIS\metadata\{087B95DF-F444-3F18-B633-4A7A0A0488A4}\SetupRes\manifest.xsd

Due this string is different on each computer in such scenario is not possible to uninstall silently.

Trueview 2023: Change the number and it worked on Freedom.

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AdODIS\V1\Installer.exe" -i uninstall -q -m "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ODIS\metadata\{7ACB914A-304E-3C03-88C6-7C75E6B16EB8}\bundleManifest.xml"

Installer Files to look at - DWG TrueView 2023 - English - (EN)\setup.xml" fot this line:

Trueview 2023. Find the Installer in \metadata to verify you have the correct number. {7ACB914A-304E-3C03-88C6-7C75E6B16EB8}

Please check Windows registry. Here are some different DWG TrueView 2023 - English versions. Latest and final is the 2023 Update 1.5.

With ODIS the installation / uninstallation works a bit differently compared good the old time.

UninstallString = Yes it's extremely long string.

I disagree : Due this string is different on each computer in such scenario is not possible to uninstall silently.
