autodesk educational confirmation does not work (sheerID always get it wrong)

sheerID is not able to confirm the studend status upon our official school IDs
seems the AI isn't that smart...
so, trying to get autodesk educational confirmations for over 100 students/year is a real pain in the a..

please change or improve this process!!!

Announcing a faster way for educators to get students up and running with Autodesk products - Autodesk Community - Subscription, Installation and Licensing

But for now you'll have to contact SheerID to sort out.

thx for the reply!
unfortunately sheerID doesn't accept our school IDs (but they accepted them last year! and all the years before) they're telling us that these ID's are not issued by the school, which is total bull****.
so what now?

Hi @Anonymous,

Do your IDs have the following:

-Your full legal name
- The name of the educational institution at which you are enrolled or
employed
- A date within the current school term

If not then the next best thing would be to create a status letter, here is a template - you will need to copy and paste into the search bar: http://damassets.autodesk.net/content/dam/autodesk/www/industries/education/docs/autodesk-student-verification-template.docx

Fill that out and print it on your school's letter head and that will fulfil the evidence required.

hi leo,

i sent them my teachers ID, which they didn't accept at first, telling me that it's not valid (well, it was a year ago...)
after i insisted that this is a valid school ID issued by our school with everything they needed, they accepted it again😉 i already received the confirmation email from autodesk.
