I would recommend against using an administrative share (i.e. \\servername\share$\)

Drop the $ on the shared folder and then make sure that the everyone user has full read/write access to the folder permissions on the server as well as the share permissions. You need to make sure the file and share permissions are both set. This should resolve your inaccessible problem. You can test this on the Start > Run box by trying to access the \\servername\share yourself. It should open in Explorer and you should be able to create new files. If you cannot, then there is a permissions issue. This also sometimes happens if you are accessing the share already with another account on the same machine.

Hi,

I have a problem with the generation of my deployment package.

I create my custom package on Autodesk with a UNC path to an empty folder but when I launch the installer I get this error.

I get the same message whether I create my UNC folder on my computer or on my server.
I tested with all rights on these folders.

It works correctly with a direct folder (C:\....) but not in UNC.

Any idea?

Thanks
