Autodesk Uninstall Tool - first time I've seen this.

this is the first time I've seen this. Has anyone used it... any tips? Please read on.

I need to simply reinstall Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Inventor and Navisworks Manage from AUTODESK BUILDING DESIGN SUITE ULTIMATE. Only purpose is to switch the license type from NET to Standalone.

I know there a way floating around to do this with a couple registry hacks... but I tried this before and it did not work.

Question... If I only unintstall the main apps using the Autodesk Uninstall Tool... then run the the install from a deployment for Standalone... wouldn't this work?... or would I need to uninstall all?

It looks like it's getting better. In the past, only a subset of the apps installed were listed on the Uninstall Tool.

For 2015 (and I'm referring to Infrastructure Design Suite), it looks like most of the programs installed are shown in the Uninstall Tool, except for one.

Depends on your deployment and how much of the suite is included and if you have the opportunity to change it during the install -- or if it is silent and can't be modified. Typically, I'd recommend uninstalling the entire suite if you need to reinstall it for licensing reasons.

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents here....

I gave this a shot on my Student machine and so far so good.

I will know once I get back into working on new college projects if anything like a crash happens.
