I was hoping to contact staff directly, but I figured that others may have this question as well.

Up until recently, I've been using my laptop to work on animation homework, however it isn't a very powerful machine and takes about 2 hours to render a 5 second clip. Because of this, I recently put together a desktop specifically for animating to help cut this time and provide more room to store said assignments.

However, with only a 1-download allowance for the student program, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. How in the world to I get the student version on my desktop as well? I can take it off of my laptop if I can get it on my desktop.

@Anonymous wrote:
....However, with only a 1-download allowance for the student program, ....

This must be new - I have never seen that restriction before.

You might try downloading from the Autodesk Virtual Agent.

Edit: My students have been using the Autodesk Student Community for years. I just logged into the community and could not find any restriction to "1-download allowance for the student program".

I always recommend to my students that they use the Browser Download method so that they never have to download same release again, even if they have to change computers for some reason.
