home license

i am working into a Public Office and as one of licensed user, I would like to know if it is possible to use the licence at home for learning or working at home purposes.

The seller of the software told me throught email that is ok , i am wondering if it is legal to do it. private own companies doesn't have such a problem , but, since we are talking about public field you all know what's like? I welcome any suggestion you may have. (please do not write just because someone told you or it should be, I heard ecc. ) thanks all for your help

Hi @Anonymous,

From what I can see in our systems, your license for AutoCAD 2014 has three seats and it is permanent.

These licenses can be activated in a machine at work, and another at home. So if you want to use your license at home, you can by any means do so since you are entitled to two activations per license, provided that you don't use it at the same time and that one is a work station and the other a home station.

@Alessandra.G Does this customer @Anonymous have a maintenance subscription with his product? If not then they are not permitted to use the home use..

yes, indeed he has a maintenance subscritpion, that's why he can use it at home as well.
