Civil 3D 2023 - "VBA not installed" always showing up when opening a drawing

Hi,

I just install Civil 3D 2023 and I always have this message when I open a file:

VBA not installed

This drawing contains content created with Microsoft Visual Basic for application software (VBA) what do you want to do?
Convert VBA content to .NET
Download the VBA Modules
Continue with the current command

I have download and install the VBA Modules (uninstall et reinstall 2-3 times...) and the message is still there.

What can I do to fix this?

Hi Simon,

Thanks for reaching out to the forum. Autodesk has begun the transition of VB customization from VBA to .NET technology. If you have drawings created with an older version of Civil 3D (2010 version and older) and you are opening these older files in the new Civil 3D (2011 and above), the warning message will be displayed.

Click on Convert VBA content to .NET. Save the dwg, the content will be converted to .NET. See this explanation by Alfred Neswadba for more information.

Thank you for your answer but I'm not sure I understand.

In the previous version of the sofware (2022, 2021, 2020...) I usually download and install the VBA Modules and after that I didn't get this message anymore. For the 2023 version, Autodesk still make available for download the VBA Modules but when install, you still get the message and you have to convert to .net.
