VIEWPORT ON LINUX SLOWER THAN ON WINDOWS

Hi , some question about performance in linux, Actually I heard that Opengl in Linux more productive than on Windose, but when I tested it in the Maya result is opposite. I have simple scene in maya, when i play animation on linux (Fedora) in one viewport its smooth and nice, when i play at the same time in 4 viewport, animation does not look smooth. you dont fill it in real-time, but viewport lying and show 60 fps, when i do the same in WINDOWS my animation in 4 viewport at the same time dont halved and looks smooth like if i played it in one viewport .
So question:
this OpenGL performance on Linux is worse than on Windowse or I do not understand something?
