Is there a free trial (non educational) for AutoCAD Mechanical?

Hello Forum!

I'm new to the Autodesk software and just wanted to casually try out AutoCAD in general, but with a closer focus on the specialized mechanical toolset. I'm slightly confused by the following: The product description on the website of AutoCAD 2023 says that it already includes specialized toolsets (Architecture, Mechanical, etc.), so I downloaded and started a trial with AutoCAD 2023 (not the explicit Mechanical version). But as I couldn't find a way to access the mechanical toolset (=workspace, if I understand that correctly) there, I later noticed that there is a standalone AutoCAD Mechanical 2023. I then also downloaded and installed this one as a free trial, but when I open the program it indicates that I don't have an active subscription with this (my) email adress (the one I also used for the free trial with the "plain" AutoCAD 2023).

My questions are:

1) Is there a free trail at all for AutoCAD Mechanical (for non students/teachers)?

2) If yes, what am I doing wrong? (Maybe only one free trial at a time allowed?)

Thanks for your reply, pandean. That's actually exactly what I did AFTER I did the same procedure with the "plain" AutoCAD version first. I even did it a second time (uninstalling "AutoCAD Mechanical" and reinstalling it to rule out any obvious mistakes on my side with the installation). But the free trial license doesn't transfer to my account (I double checked on my account page). Hence my suggestion/question about whether or not there are restrictions to having multiple active free trials simultaneously (since I already started an active free trail with the "plain" AutoCAD a day earlier).

But I take your answer as an indirect confirmation for there definitely being a free trial for the "Mechanical" version as well and that my issue is somehow related to a conflict with multiple free trial licenses. I think I'll have to directly bother the customer support then...

Yes, you can have more than 1 type of trial going ..

Thanks, mdavis22569. I had been using the webinstaller for my first 2 attempts. I now gave it a third go by downloading the files from your links, but with the same outcome. As soon as I launch the program I get the message, that "An active subscription could not be found for this email address" (see attached screenshot).

The link below ("Get a free trial") just loops me back to the generic Autodesk free trial page (https://www.autodesk.com/free-trials).

That's exactly what resolved the issue. Thank you so much!

The problem was indeed related to a browser/website/cookies/cache-issue that caused an error in the process of assigning the free trail to my account when clicking on install/download in the final step. Switching the browser (Firefox -> Edge) made it work.
