&lt;P&gt;In addition, try right-clicking the desktop icon, and choose properties. Once there, go to&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Compatibility&lt;/STRONG&gt; tab and enable &lt;STRONG&gt;Compatibility Mode&lt;/STRONG&gt; then use the dropdown and choose &lt;STRONG&gt;Windows 7 or Vista SP1&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I have just installed true view and it won't open.&amp;nbsp; It just stays on the screen attached all day. I have tried re-installing it with no joy.&amp;nbsp; Thanks for your help.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Kill any running instances of Trueview. Then perform the following:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Browse to and delete&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;C:\Users\&amp;lt;username&amp;gt;\AppData\Local\Autodesk\DWG TrueView 2017 - English&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Also delete&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;C:\Users\&amp;lt;username&amp;gt;\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\DWG TrueView 2017 - English&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Open the registry editor and navigate to&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\DWG TrueView&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt; and delete it.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Start TrueView again.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This will reset your Trueview Profile to defaults.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I finally got the new version downloaded, thanks for your help.&amp;nbsp; Its working fine but I just have a question.&amp;nbsp; Can I change the background to white and the drawings to black to be the same as the older version?&amp;nbsp; I use a snipping tool to copy drawings and don't want to be copying all the black background.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;At the big "D" icon in the upper left is the application menu.&amp;nbsp; Select the down arrow next to it and you should see at the bottom of the menu is a button called OPTIONS.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When the OPTIONS dialog appears, select the Display tab and in the middle of that dialog there will be a button called COLORS.&amp;nbsp; From there you can assign colors to the related elements.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;NOTE&lt;/STRONG&gt;: Options is not shown under the application menu unless you have a document opened.&lt;/P&gt;
