Change Student Account to Home User (hobbyists purposes)

Hi to all.

I have recent download Fusion 360 for personal and home purpose.

When i have create an account I have not find Home User.

Is Fusion 360 free for home user?

How to change my account type from student to Home User ?

Hello roberto.armellin and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like you're trying to create an Autodesk Cloud account. With an Autodesk 360 account you can view and edit 2D and 3D designs, create 3D models from photos, share and edit files with others, and much more.

Please follow the steps below to create your account:

1. Go to https://360.autodesk.com
2. Click on Create an Account
3. Complete the web form and accept the license agreement
4. Hit Submit

Sorry, but I don't want 360 cloud account...

i'm looking for a free 3d software I can use for hobby purposes...

When i have try to install Fusion 360 (mac) I have create my account.

In first step the software ask me only my email and password.

The day after installation i have try to login into Autodesk comunity and in this occasion the Autodesk site tell me to complete registration.

But I could only choose "student".

The problem is: I'm not a student... can i change my "student account" to hobbyists account ?

Is Fusion 360 free for my hobbyists purposes ?

Welcome to the community...

You have to start with the 30 day free trial. After its installed you will notice the 30 day counter in the upper right hand corner. Click on it and then select the startup free option if you meet those requirements.

Once a student account is established you can't use it to purchase a commercial or non-commercial license. At this point you'll have to decided if you want to lose your student benefits and files and have it switched over to a non-educational account.
