&lt;P&gt;The Microsoft Fixit utility will only uninstall the selected app and any registry information that's related to it.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; If there are mutiple apps being uninstalled then you have to repeat the process.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; But Fixit should only be used if you have issues after you ran the normal uninstall through Windows Control Panel.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;AUDT?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; What are you talking about?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Or do you mean the ADUT folder she mentioned?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The Autodesk download manager is just a tool to download/extract and start your Autodesk product installation.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; It has nothing to do with uninstalling...&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I wonder if anyone can help&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I installed my AutoCAD LT package and all was working well until yesterday when I tried to start the software and received the following message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"The License manager is not functioning or is improperly installed. AutoCAD will shut down now."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have been sent instructions on how to fix but cannot find any of the files referenced&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am obviously missing something or am technically challenged&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any help gratefully received&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nick&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;STEP 1: Forcing reactivation of the product&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;Close any running Autodesk programs.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Remove all files under&amp;nbsp;C:\Users\&amp;lt;username&amp;gt;\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ADUT.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Remove all files under&amp;nbsp;C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ADUT.&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;Locate the download folder and extract (double click) part _001_00X.sfx.exe. If you have a permission issue right click and select,&amp;nbsp;Run as administrator&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Make sure you do not have any programs running in the background, by accessing Task Manager (ctrl+alt+delete) "End Task" for any unnecessary&amp;nbsp;items running. Shutdown and restart the computer. Locate the following folder C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS\001I1_2017.0.0.F and delete it, try to open/launch the product.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Hopefully the "Let's Get Started" screen will allow you to "Enter Serial" and&amp;nbsp;activiate.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

Registry files, License files or additional application that come with software; for examples ReCap Photo, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, that comes with C3D?.&amp;nbsp; Or said applications need to be uninstall separately?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. &lt;P&gt;The Microsoft Fixit utility will only uninstall the selected app and any registry information that's related to it.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; If there are mutiple apps being uninstalled then you have to repeat the process.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; But Fixit should only be used if you have issues after you ran the normal uninstall through Windows Control Panel.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;AUDT?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; What are you talking about?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Or do you mean the ADUT folder she mentioned?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The Autodesk download manager is just a tool to download/extract and start your Autodesk product installation.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; It has nothing to do with uninstalling...&lt;/P&gt;

I think my teammate was under the impression the Fit it Tool would assist with the uninstall, and I just wanted to corroborate what you just stated; just to be verify.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Yes the ADUT folder where License files are store, and just anticipating an IT questions. Do to regulations, and restrictions I (users) can't run admin, and have to submit a ticket to get support; they have to verify information for their documentation, and I like to have all of it if possible before hand to expedite the process.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. &lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Running the&amp;nbsp;Microsoft Fix it Tool can be optional, but it is recommended especially to avoid re-installation issues in the future.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
