Our 2022 releases for civil design come packed with new capabilities and updates. We’re most excited about:

New capabilities advancing automation for site grading

Enhanced conceptual design features for transportation workflows

More streamlined multi-disciplinary bridge design workflows

Updates driving project efficiency with Project Explorer and Model Builder

Expanded reality capture capabilities to help convert the physical world to a digital model

Here are the top five reasons you should get excited about Civil 3D and InfraWorks (2022):

The link to IW 2022 download in my Autodesk account only allows me to download the 2021 and older versions. I guess it will be fixed soon, too.

It seems that there are no educational access and licenses offered anymore to teach classes and perform research projects with Autodesk Infraworks, REVIT, ARC GIS plugins, etc. Neither my students nor I can download an academic Autodesk Infraworks version without issues with educational license activations. Immediately after installation, it ignores the educational sign-in credentials and shifts to professional buying subscriptions. Also, only version 2020 is offered. The Autodesk advertisement broadcasts Infraworks version 2022. But it's not listed on the Autodesk educational accounts. Where is it? Who can assist? I filed a case with Autodesk, but no feedback yet. I hope we can get help through this blog; otherwise, we must switch to other software companies. Thank you, Prof. Spiegelhalter, FIU Miami

Thanks, Ramesh! Good for you that you have no issues. I wish that would be the case on our side. For better clarification, here are the screenshots for both student accounts and faculty accounts. When accessed it goes straight to subscriptions (meaning it ignores educational account settings) or for students after installation it asks for subscriptions. This does not happen with all the other Autodesk products. We had the same issue 2 years ago.
