InfraWorks unable to open model with data stored in 12d Synergy and OneDrive

Hi,

I'm based in NSW, Australia and specialise in road design.

We recently needed to create tiles for InfraWorks from specifying an area in Google Earth, and then using the resulting kmz file to retrieve Elvis height data from https://elevation.fsdf.org.au/

We also had some sdf files to combine with this data in InfraWorks, storing our data in 12d Synergy and also in OneDrive.

We found that when we opened the resulting model with InfraWorks, it either caused InfraWorks to infinitely (and unsuccessfully) try open the model, or our computers would freeze/crash.

Is there anything particularly obvious anyone can spot that might be the glaring cause of our woes?

Try not to use OneDrive, it might be locking files while syncing and updating.
