IW-2023 Parametric Bridge Girder - "Check for Updates"

Hello:

Has anyone tried using the Check for Updates option to update a parametric bridge girder and had success ? I have modified my Inventor template model but have been unable to use this option to update/reload the modified template.

Just checking to see if it is me or if it is not working for others either.

Hi @nick.seman

Check for updates does not currently work for girders. The check for updates function only works on 3D parametric parts (Abutments, Piers, Foundations). It does not currently work with 2D cross sections (Girders, Decks, Tunnels). This is something that is a work in progress and will hopefully be ready for the next release. I will keep you posted on the progress of the work.
