By default, all terrain in InfraWorks 360 is styled a tan sand-dirt color. Sometimes you may want to change this to represent different terrain, especially if your aerial imagery isn't covering the whole terrain extent in your model.

To change the default terrrain:

Open Model Properties.

Click next to Default Style in the Terrain section of the Model Properties dialog, then choose a new terrain material from the Terrain folder, or specify a single color for the terrain using the Color tab. Press OK.

Note: There are three stock multiscale terrain textures included in the Material/Terrain catalog. These multiscale textures can reduce visual redundancies for large areas while providing better visual appearance.

Press Apply in the Model Properties dialog. This will regenerate the terrain in your model, and may take a while depending on the size of your model.
