It could be a video driver issue.

Hello everyone,

I have a question about TIFF data. So i've created new surface (TIFF data) in Autocad 3D Map, now im trying to insert this TIFF data to IW360. As im inserting it to IW model, it makes my IW Model invisible when i delerT this TIFF surface from IW, my model comes back

Any Idea about?

Just would like to menion that, ive checked coordinates, so all is correct.

But I noticed on the data configuration image that you uploaded that the image is configured as ground or terrain.

Can you delete that and inserted again making sure that it gets configures as Ground Image...

do you have any more information about the tiff meta data (number of bands, bits)?

Hi @Anonymous,

your Tiff file is a raster terrain/surface.
The problem is that it has cooridnates in long ETRS89 notation, means there is a leading 32 (Mio.)

Autodesk programs always use the short notation.

Your solution is to create a custom coordinate system in Map/Civil 3D that deals with the long notation.

Check this page for a description of how to do that:

http://geospatialnavigator.typepad.com/geospatial_navigator/2011/10/automatische-transformation-von-etrs89utm-32n-datenohne-zonenbezeichnung-zur-darstellung-mit-zonenbe.html

Alternatively, move your image: x = -32000000.

Regards,
