Change a manhole to inlet

Hello everyone!

How I can change a manhole to an inlet? I imported a pipe system from civil 3d to infraworks but every structures is the same, and I need to change some manholes to inlets. Is there a way?

Hi Cristhy1502,

There's not a direct way to change manholes to inlets. However, since you've imported the network from Civil 3D, I believe you could go back to your drawing and change some of the structures to inlets and then reimport the dwg into InfraWorks. You'd want to change the Pipe Network to use a Parts List based on the Generic Drainage Catalog if it's not already - because those parts are either inlets or manholes. Then use Swap parts to change to the inlets or manholes that you want.

Or you can do it easily buy upgrading your windows, and using the new tool they added. Called "Imena"
