Problems when opening infraworks model (unable to open model)

Hi guys,

I have a major issue. When i try to open my infraworks. i get the following message:

My log messages:

I have no clue what i can do or what happened. I did not update a new version and 5 days ago it still worked. Now i have to deliver my work to our client and i am desperate what to do.

Hopefully someone knows how i can solve this. (I think Infraworks is really really fragile with errors, hopefully Autodesk makes this better in the future)

Hi @Luke.vansonsbeek ,

can you send the latest InfraWorks full log files from path %AppData%\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk InfraWorks\logs?

They have more details than what you showed.

If you need a private folder to upload the data, let me know.

Hi @Luke.vansonsbeek ,

thank you for the log file and please excused the delayed response.

The issue shown in the log file is an existing "index.lock" file for your model.

This file prevents other users to open and work on the same model and it's usually deleted when you close the model.

Navigate to 'C:/Infraworks/170 - BA Tank Terminal.files/.git/index.lock' and delete the "index.lock" file manually. You should be able to open the model after that.
