Hi @Anonymous

it should be possible to create a road passing over a river without adding a bridge.

It should also be possible to add any 3D model (a bridge in your case as FBX model) at any location (X,Y,Z) to the model.

Looking at your image, I am not sure where the error is, it's hard to see what is the FBX model and what is the bridge object and where is the grading.

Is it possible to share the model?
If the model is uploaded to the cloud, you can use my company email address for the invite: karsten.saenger(at)autodesk.com.

If it's not online, I can create a support case for you to provide the model data.

Regards,

Karsten.

Hi all,

Now i'm trying to insert a 3D bridge (.fbx file) into infrawork and keeping road pavement (just import bride structure below the road because pavement type in 3D bridge model is different with infrawork pavement).

But i have problem, that i cannot delete or hide the grading at the bride position (all I need that the road surface).

Some one have experience in this case?

Thank you all.

Sorry because English is not my first language.

This method is a bit rough-n-ready but works:

Create a IW bridge on your 'Design Road' and select a very thin super-structure and no piers set the extents to match your FBX and you will hardly see it - DONE

You can go one-step further and create your own 'Bridge Deck' Style that is basically empty, other that the road surface elements you want to display / match your Road Style.
