Cannot Install Informed Design with RVT 2024.2

I have the latest Revit version but still cannot install or use Informed Design for Revit. I have revit 2024.2 open in the background and checked Autodesk Access for updates but on the same screen Informed Design Installer states Revit 2024 is required.

Hi @umut.akparlar,

Are you trying to install the add-in whilst Revit is open? If so please closed down Revit and try again.

Please let me know how you get on.

First I tried it with Revit closed then I opened it to show I have latest version of revit.

Not working for both scenarios.

Did you download the add-in from your Autodesk account or via the product page?

If you didn't get via the product page. Can I ask if you can try and download it from there. Please follow these instructions here where to go.

Oh does the add-in file you downloaded have the build number in the description? It should say something like 1.0.0.0.

I was using following website:

https://informeddesign.autodesk.com/revit

Downloaded filename is " Informed Design Add-In 1.0.0.0 for Revit 2024.msi "

Hi @umut.akparlar,

When installing it checks the registry to determine if Revit 2024 is installed. Can you please run regedit an go the location Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Revit\2024\REVIT-05. It should show the same as in the image below.

What do if display on your machine?

Thank you for the support but I did not have proposed registry keys. I will try installation with another machine.
