If you are using Autodesk HSM Edit for reading your posted programs, you can add a file type and alter the colors.

Go to Editor in the ribbon and in "File Type" select the bottom right button to expand. This should open settings.

Select "File types" if not already selected upon opening the settings, and add ISO Milling to the list if not already added.

Click OK and then open your text file. In the Editor Ribbon tab, select the ISO Milling in the "File Type" drop down.

If your post is not ISO Milling, then find the appropriate File Type in the Setup Settings.

The color coding of the gcodes , mcodes etc. does not work when I post a part program from my edited Samsung mill turn post processor. When I use the original PP that is not edited, the gcodes are color coded. What did I edit in the PP that is preventing it to CC?

Open comment parentheses?

Or maybe there is a missing % at the top?

Might be simply file extension too.

Thanks for the reply, it is greatly appreciated. Yes, I believe it is the file extension. I had to change it to .txt, because that is what my machine needs. Can I somehow add .txt to be color coded also?
