Inventor keeps crashing!

Help! Ever since I installed Inventor HSM, Inventor crashes as soon as I either open a file or start a new one. It begins loading and then stops responding. I have only had this problem since HSM was installed.

Sorry you're having troubles. Can you tell me which release of Inventor you're using, and which version/build of Inventor HSM?

Have there been crash reports? If so, have you submitted them? If so, with which e-mail?

I am using Inventor Professional 2017 (Student, as I am an educator) and
HSM Ultimate 2017. It never gets to a crash report because the only way
"out" is to end the task in the task manager.

OK, thanks. It's hard to say what might be happening, but one suggestion is to update to the most recent (2019) version of either HSM, or both HSM + Inventor.

As an educator, you should be able to access the current version, and get a license key, via the Educational software site.

After updating to the 2019 versions of both the issue has resolved.
