ADDING ADDITIONAL MACHINE TYPES TO THE MACHINE TYPE MENU "INVENTOR CAM 2020"

IS THERE A WAY OF ADDING ADDITIONAL MACHINE TYPES TO THE MACHINE TYPE MENU IN THE SETUP PAGE? I WOULD LIKE THE MACHINING TIME ESTIMATE TO BE MORE ACCURATELY REFLECTED BASED OFF MY MACHINE SPECS. OR IS THERE A WAY TO EDIT THE STOCK MACHINE TYPES PROVIDED?

Hi @Anonymous - Thanks for reaching out. As Machine Configurations are still in Beta Mode in Inventor CAM 2020, you can't currently edit them. I'm reaching out to our development team about this - I think your best option for adjusting the machine configuration is to find and modify the files. If what you really care about is machining time estimates - there's another option. Take a look at this quick video.

The exposure of the machine selection in the Setup editor is actually a mistake. We will be removing it (unless the machine configurations feature flag is enabled) in the next product update.

I am also very interested in this feature. I would like to be able to define the machine in Inventor based on machine solid models that I currently have. This could be a very powerful feature.
