Fanuc post for Oi TC with c axis, Help?

Hi Guys,

not sure where to start as I have limited experience with live tooling so bare with me. the standard Fanuc Post worked 100% ok for general turning in both Fusion and HSM in Solidworks for us. The only thing we have to change is tool numbers sometimes.

Now we wish to implement the c axis and live tooling on the machine but we cannot see any posts for it.

Here is a snip of the program form the machine's manual to clarify the format we need:

Control is Fanuc oi TC

Doosan millturn post is what you can use, but you will need to modify it to work with your machine.

In general, modifying is not that hard to do, modify M codes for start, and then test, modify, repeat...

be very carefull.

Hi i have no experience with modifying post processors.

If you have some scripting or programming experience, take a look at your post, and it should qickly become clear how to change m-codes and other small changes.

If not, find someone who does, or take a lot of time googling (this fourum old posts are also great start...).

Was there ever a post processor fix for the Fanuc Oi-TC controller with live tooling? I need a post that posts out M12.1 and M13.1 codes. Any help on this?
