We also have full HSMWorks. Does anybody use the generic post to run this machine ? If so are there problems? Does anybody have a post processor that was created especially for this machine? Who made it, and what are the differences between generic and custom ?

Your answers are really appreciated 🙂

Regards, MAC

Welcome to the forum,

Could you do this for me? http://camforum.autodesk.com/index.php?topic=2927.msg11187#msg11187

Mill-turn machine's are never run from generic posts. This is because they tend to be so specific and different with each generation that it's not something you can pack with the program and be sure people don't crash their very expensive machine.

But for Haas machine they are specifically developed by Autodesk CAM. So shooting a mail to posts cam.posts @ autodesk.com might be your best bet.
