Baileigh Router Table POST PROCESSOR

Hello. We recently purchased a new Baileigh Industrial CNC router table. the Baileigh WR 48v. The program they supplied us for CAM is called UcanCam. We have been using Fusion 360 to design our parts and have to export the dxfs to be able to run the CAM software (which is extremely basic) as I can not find a post processor that works from fusion to the Bailiegh.

I use a MAC. I've tried some of the Shopbot Post Procesors in FUSION 360. Everytime i export any code there is no file extension. Then BRACKETS opens up and still cant export or anything with a file extension.

Can someone please tell me how to get started knowing what post processor I should attempt to use?

I would like to design and CAM in Fusion and take this middle step out of having a generic software run our machine. However as it is the only thing working for us we are forced to use it. Please help.

Have you contacted your local reseller for any training or support yet?

You shouldn't be having any issues with file extensions. Try changing the default post editor in the Fusion preferences to Notepad ++ or http://nc-corrector.inf.ua/index_EN.htm

Unfortunately Baileigh is telling us to reach out to Autodesk for the post processor.

Should I manually input a file extension when exporting the code?

Resellers can also help you with the development of post processors. You could try manually putting a file extension.. but this should be done in the post? Did you try Scotts suggestion of changing the default post editor?

I made that suggestion, because I test both shopbot posts from Fusion and had no issues with the file extensions. But I don't use Brackets because it takes too long to launch and often launches two instances. I currently have the nc-corrector installed for Fusion.... just trying it out. But I might buy G-Wizard Editor.

Yeah, I don't use brackets either, so annoying how long it takes to start! Does G-Wizard work on Mac?

It's built on Adobe Air... so yup. I just discovered that today! It looks like it doesn't colour code the G-code though, which is a really nice touch in HSM Edit.

Long story short had to dig out some post processor code from Ucancam. Send it to Autodesk. Then modify the generic RS274 post as the machine does not support circular interpolation. I have posted the post processor file below that we have been using and have had great success with. Good Luck.

I'm having trouble getting this post processor to work on my baleigh router.. the tool will reach maximum Z then the program will stop. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I had the task of setting up a new Baileigh Wr-48 CNC router to run files from Fusion 360 but i couldn't find a post that would work. I tried to use LEE POSTS but had little to no success.

After some deep thought I realized that Baileigh is the American name for a Chinese manufactured machine so I performed a search for the controller name "Weihong NK105" as well as "post" and found some helpful information here https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/hsm-post-processor-forum/post-processor-for-weihong-nk105-solved/td-p/6091825

I searched high and low for Baileigh post processors and couldnt figure out why there was so little information on this topic. I hope this helps anyone that comes across the same issue!

What version of NK105 worked with this post? We have a NK105 G2, and I've seen mention of a G3 model as well. I'm having some trouble with my first tests, and just want to confirm that I'm working with a known-good post.
