Would anyone happen to have a post that is specific to the Fanuc O-T for Lathe.

The generic post never outputs drilling cycles right and adds a G54 which is not needed for this controller.

Thanks in advance

What is wrong with the drilling cycles? Can you mark up a file with the changes needed?

G54 is simple to remove

If you mark up the changes, I can modify the post to suit (If you cant find a post that is already available)

I have assisted someone with a 6T post.

Is that closer to what you need than the standard Fanuc?

Hi!

I see you have been very helpful with Fanuc 6t. I have been working in a small shop where I started my adventure with machining. There's this Colchester Tornado 200 lathe and it runs on Fanuc 0T. I would love to get some job done on it using fusion 360 to impress everyone and boost my skills. Would you be willing to help me and customize the generic post to work fine with this lathe? I could get you all the needed info about the axis movement, list of G and M codes, some exemplary programs that has been run on this lathe. I really hope you could help, because I'm new in cnc machining but I got hooked on it and would love to learn more and more!!

Best wishes

Jacob

in my experience the generic Fanuc turn post works with OT controls. The only thing i have to hand edit is my machine doesn't use g54

I'm running a 1994 Femco 25e Fanuc OT.

Did you fix the whole post for that g54 or do you edit it every time you generate your code? Could you send this current post that you are using for Fanuc 0T ?

Best wishes

Jacob
