FANUC Post processing fail!!!

Hello!

Some times I have a problem with postprocesor FANUC.cps on version HSMWORKS 2012 R5.

I working with 3-axis.

I have this massage: "Warning: Work offset has not been specified. Using G54 as WCS."

In older version HSMWORK 2012 R1 all works fine without problems on any operations when i posting.

Can you help me to fix this problem?

This is not a post processing fail.

It's just an extra warning that you haven't specified a work offset in your job.

So it tells you it will use G54 because that's it's best bet.

In MY JOB basic folder I choosing offset value: 0 (default value is G54) , other values 1 (G54), 2 (G55), 3 (G56), 4 (G57), 5 (G58), 6 (G59).

I tried with other values, but same result of error masage!

Before I tried to take file POST.DLL from older version and replace it with the newer version and no error masage, but every time when I start SOLIDWORKS I have warning masage window and I click on OK button and all is alright.

I want to make it without replacing this file to fix this problem. Any body know how to fix it? 😞

Can you make a screencast so we can see what is going on?

Also is there a reason you aren't on HSMWorks 2017?

The reason I use SOLIDWORKS 2014 and HSMWORKS 2017 do not working on this version, also SOLIDWORKS 2014 doing good work for me.

I typing from my home and I use MAC OS X operation system and I can't use SCREENCAST!

Today in my work I tried with HSMWORKS 2014, but it show me the same error!

I find the problem! I thinк that POST.EXE is buged (corrupted).

Can you tell me what is mean this error massage?

Alright.

So like expected the work offset warning isn't the problem.

It errors out on the OnCorruption Function.

Is your license valid for the HSMWorks 2012 R5 release?

I don't know! The license is valid to 2019 year!

I use the same license file in HSMWORKS 2014.

I see the differences in the engine version file in POST.EXE betwen HSMWORKS 2012 and HSMWORKS 2014. I suspect this file POST.EXE is not work properly!

Do you thing a license file don't work properly on this version?

If your license is valid till 2019 you can try this version: http://www.hsmworks.com/files/hsmworks2016/HSMWorks2016-R4.41148-x64.exe

That is a HSMWorks 2016, and that works for SolidWorks 2014.

I do not think it is a license issue. I would like to see your post and take a look at that. If you could upload your post file, I can look through it. It looks like it should be the below file.

onCorruption() is a post processor engine function that you cannot find in the post.

So it can't be the post processor itself.

It could be the installation or the licensing.

Exactly!

I thing the problem is in POST.EXE file (C:\Program Files\HSMWorks\post.exe)! This file don't work properly.

Hello!

Today I tried HSMWORKS 2016 R4.41148, which advise me and now works 100% perfect!

I knewed, that the problem is in the post engine version POST.EXE! Now the newer post engine version 4.2.1.41078 in HSMWORKS 2016 works very fine!

No error massage and no fail posting!

I must treat you a beer!
