Prototrak Lathe Arcs Reversed

Is there a simple setting in the post to reverse the arcs in the Prototrak lathe? I need switch G2 to G3 and visa/versa for G3. All the arcs moves are currently gouging the part.

We will add an option to the generic Prototrak turning post processor to give the user the option of reversing the circular directions in this post. For now, you were sent a solution that permanently changes the direction of the circular arcs.

Using the post online, the arcs are all reversed and we do not want them to be. Even though I checked the code and it says reverseArcDirection: false there must be something wrong with the rest of the code, because all the G02s and G03s are flipped. To get a correct part, we had to manually edit the gcode and change G02 to G03 and vice versa. Can this be fixed so the post available online does not mix the arcs up?

I have checked the current version of the online post and it is working as designed. Have you tried to set the 'Reverse G02/G03' property to 'true' when you run the post. It should then reverse the values of the circular direction codes (G03/G02) and give you the output you are looking for.

I tried to edit the code as you suggested but it would not show up in hsmworks as a post that I could choose.

Here is what I did:

-Copy/paste code from the web site into notepad (also tried notepad++ and got same result)

-Save as .cps to my documents folder

-Move the file from documents to program files > hsmworks > posts and give administrative permission for the file to copy

It looks fine in my file explorer (ie the edited file is in the right folder and is the same file type as the existing posts), but when I go to hsmworks, the edited file is not in the list of posts I can choose.

You don't need to create a new post, this setting is listed in the property table when you run the post can be changed at run-time. See the following picture.
