Posted to the machine 2 hours ago.. Changed programs no the post wont even write on the Computer?? Gives me an error.. HSM is reall starting to piss me off, had trouble with it since day 1

Need more info which machine and year?
Can you do some screenshots of your post heirs? can you share the files?

Hi,

First, You must enter few data that we can know what is problem.

Second, if You new in HSM Works, you must start with simply part on 3-axis. I have 5 years expirience in mold making in HSM works, last one year i am able to made complicate programs pn 4 or 5 axis machine.

Third, probably, You have problem with tool orientation or zero point in A-axis. On HAAS 4-axis (trunion type or similar) , zero point is in intersection point between X,Y and Z-axis. This point is on center of rotation A-axis, X You can put anywhere on part, Y must be in center and must be intersect with rotation axis.

Thanks for posting. As the above replies state, there are several things that could be causing your issue. If you could provide us with more details (screenshots, post processor, file), we can advise you on exactly what the issue is here. Usually if the post processor errors, you will have an error message displayed in the .log file that is opened (displayed above the line of ^^^^^^), this should indicate what is wrong with your program.

Hi.. It is a 2000 VF4 With 4th axis.. It already has ran one operation with this post and now its doing this? Its using the same movements! Same posts and program works in fusion but throws this in HSM, my machine doesn't like reading code from brackets for some reason always throws an alarm or I would already be running in fusion..
