Our problem is when we try to take the g-code from the fusion 360, it gives error. Our machine is Mitsubishi Turning machine. It has C axis.

You selected the Mitsubishi Mill post processor. You will need to select the Turning one. To make it easier to find, you can set a filter to sort out Turn posts only.

That said, I don't think the Mitsubishi post supports Mill/Turn. You may need to use the Fanuc Mill/Turn post and edit to your liking...

To begin with, thank you for your reply sir,

Firstly, I didn't buy the program. I am using with student license. So, I understand that we can't use the fusion 360 for mitsubishi m70 to make mill/turn both. Also, we can't use the fanuc post process for mitsubishi m70. They are different. So what we can do for it ?

Secondly when I open the post process window, I press the open config and there is nothing happening.. Why is that?

I will wait your reply as soon as possible, Thank you..

Regards

Fusion student license or paid is pretty much the same functionality as far as CAM is concerned.

To use Fusion for your Mill/Turn, you are likely going to need to edit an existing post processor for use in your machine.

For mill, the difference between Fanuc and Mitubishi is so minimal. A couple tweaks to header and retract and that was it. I can't imagine that it would be that far off the mark regarding turning.

What you need to do:

Produce code that CAN run on your machine. Whether this is from another CAM package, or something that was manually written out.

Provide a sample Fusion file

Indicate the areas of code that are not correct or need tweaking.

Hello again,

I tried different ways and results:

When we just make the milling process, and then run the post process for just milling, it gives g-codes corretly.

However, when we just make the turning process for the solid, and then run the post process for just turning, it gives nothing to us. Also same for the mill/turning both. What can we do for that? I am sorry but I couldn't understand what you said last.

In addition: We can just make the milling process, Program has no ability to produce just turning or both turning/milling process is that correct ?

First off; it's easier for everyone when you use the "Photos" button and attach your screenshots that way:

Secondly, there is not Fanuc Mill/Turn or Mitsubishi turning post that ships with Fusion, you will need to get that from the HSM Post Library. The Fanuc Mill/Turn posts that are available will get you milling and turning code (for a mill/turn lathe). Yes, likely edits will need to be done, but let's cross that bridge when we get there.

One other comment; rather than taking photos with a phone, sending it to your PC and then making the post, consider using a free screenshot tool such as Screenpresso

Hello again sir,

I tried all of them however it gives error again.. I downloaded the files on the library for mitsubishi. Turning is okay but milling is not. We want both milling/ turning code I mean we want to work with c axis

Here is the solid that we are trying to make:

https://a360.co/2UMxxCr
