I am using a Haas A-axis Rotary to drill holes 180 degrees apart. My issue is that when I set my Z origin point on top of the stock material, at A0. it posts correctly, but at A180. it posts out as if the Z origin point is now at the bottom of the part (because the part is not rotated 180 degrees). Has anybody ran into this issue?

Well, this is intended/expected behavior.

The easy answer is you should program from the rotational axis. Or you need to have the DWO option.

If you would want to have a Origin for each A-axis rotation than we would need to modify your post.

I totally agree with you. 95% of the time I would be programming of center of rotation, so I would not have issues. I really just want it fixed for the few times, "if" I would have to program other than from centerline. But I will talk to the post guys and see if they can fix this. Thank.
