Cloud only storage makes a product completely worthless

If you travel, like a I do often most of the time I have very poor internet connections (like modem speed) and most often the case usually none at all. So any product that is 'web only' or cloud storage only is absolutely of no use. Too bad so many products are going this way.

Ok, 'it is all wonderful' tell me how you get the cloud to work without an
internet connection?

There are many places still that don't have internet and if they do it is
so slow I don't even find worth while using. But then the very ignorant
thinks the whole world has high speed internet.

I was a software engineer (BSCS and BSEE combined) for many years. This is
the kind of ignorance that prevailed in many of the companies I worked at.
It seems the ignorance continues. I found also, you can't reason with
people like this because it is beyond their intellectual capacity to
comprehend. In simple words, this is why you're a support person rather
than a real engineer do development work. Truth hurts doesn't it.
