As of now, you can't do that.
How about making independent components A, B, C as independent fusion designs A, B, C? that way you can insert them in as many new designs as you need while maintaining the reference link. You can even maintain a separate folder where you can keep all such to be re-used components saved as independent fusion design.

Hi

I have some questions regards the import of single parts from another design.

Let's say I have a [robot design] with A, B, C, and D components.

Also, I have another design call [cover design].

I want to insert just B components from [robot design] to my [cover design].

How can I do that? If it's not possible could you suggest an alternative way?

(The inserted B component need to be up to date with the robot design too)

The reason to import only the B components is to reduce the load on the PC.

Hi, depending upon how you plan to reuse your design. Choose one of the three ways mentioned in the official help guide. Here is the link.

As I see, the third option (Insert into Current Design) suits your use case.

Hello, Thank you for your reply.

We currently use the third option, however, the inserted file has so many components and slows down our PC.

Is [Hide or unselectable] option can solve this? Will the PC process the Fusion 360 faster if I choose [Hide or Unselectable]?

Can you elaborate please, is it not your intent to insert the 'so many components' in your current design?

I would like to import just 1 part from another design into my current design.

For example, if another design has A, B, C, and D components, I just want an A component in my new design.

The reason is I have many mechanical designers in my team and each of them responds to a different part of the machine.

Sometimes they just want to use reference from another design but just 1 part.
