Cannot Move Selected File

Hello,

I am having a few issues, all related to Fusion 360's file system. To begin, a Board file of mine somehow vanished and re-appeared in another project inside Fusion. I know I didn't do this manually because there is no way to do that in Desktop Fusion. Another issue, I couldn't actually find the file in Desktop Fusion, I had to open my repo in my browser. Once I found the file, I tried to move it back to its home. However I got the mysterious error "Cannot Move Selected File", and no other information. I would badly like to have this file in its proper home. Is there anything I can do to fix this and/or prevent this from happening in the future?

I would love to see some QoL improvements to the file system in Fusion, it's pretty lacking to be honest.

Hi, can you pls share screenshot of the error that you are getting?

Also, the file which you said got misplaced automatically, what is the file type? are you using it as a component of some other file?

I'm terrible sorry to post here, but I didn't want to open a separate thread for the very same issue. I also have some files which I cannot move. I created a few more folders (when I succeeded, sometimes it also resulted in error), then I tried to organize my stuff better as I'm creating more and more designs. Some files I was able to move to a different folder, some I wasn't. The error message is lacking any information about the error. I agree with the poster that this is not too helpful. I attached a screenshot about what I want to move where, but I can't.
